ffmpeg-sharp is a project I started in 2008 to provide audio and video decoding capabilities in .NET languages. It started as a side project while building my own media player, but after seeing no complete interop wrappers for ffmpeg, I decided to open source the project at which point audio encoding and video decoding capabilities were added.
